SONY STR 7055 (A) was one of the biggest sales successes of Sony hifi in the seventies. It has an output of 45 watts pc. It runs today as it did forty years ago.
The typical Sony front seems to be built for eternity. A beautiful vintage receiver that can still be got for very little money.

I inherited one, STR-7055A, and it has been repaired and restored. It is beautiful and top-drawer compared to the plastic junk I buy today.. I need to know how to adapt a digital CD player to the receiver. The electronics repairman had a CD player hooked into the receiver when I picked it up, but I can't seem to be able to do the same.
ReplyDeleteAre there adapters available?
Hello, simply connect RCA L,R analog outputs of CD player to "Aux' or "Tuner",Tape" input of Receiver
ReplyDeleteWonderful receiver, the golden age rocks!
